I bought this drone because it was made in the US for my step father but after a couple months had past he could not get the drone to register with the FAA which is required for take off. Since he lives 900 miles away from me it took some time for me to drive to him. I figured he was just not doing it right, but after several hours and putting all of the information in correctly I am out $900 for a drone that will not register along with all the extra items I purchased for him. Do not buy, it took 2 weeks for delivery and only 30 days for money back. I would expect more from a US company. I have even reached out to them and three weeks later, nothing.

Thorough instructions, which are really helpful for first time fliers and advanced AI functions. Drone is confidence building as it’s easy to fly quickly in open spaces, yet has very precise control when making small adjustments in altitude, rotation or direction.
The auto launch and land functions are especially helpful for first-time operations. It just rises off the ground to the controller level and waits for you to take over. When one doesn’t know the sensitivity of the joysticks, that’s a real anxiety reducer.
Some things to note:
I am still learning to fly, so I have no experience yet with long-distance return home or AI flying functions. or more complex camera manipulations. Camera images are clear and detailed. Obstacle avoidance works flying both forward and back – It wouldn’t come close enough to the landing point because I was standing too close. Couldn’t back it in either without giving it more room.
The starting sequence in the manual should include mounting the cell phone and starting the cell phone app first, prior to drone start and controller start. The reason is that the first screen of the app has the full start-up sequence, and since the sequence of operations is important to getting all systems linked properly.
SD Card size – the web site and one place in the manual indicate that the drone can take a 256 gb card so that’s what I bought. Controller asks to format it and after formatting it works perfectly.

I recently purchased a limitless 5 done. very impressed. has a lot of power, American made, and you don’t have to spend $1200. Also, if you do make you purchase, I recommend that it go through the warranty with the company, not with Amazon. less hassle free and the coverage is excellent. if needed. I highly recommend limitless 5. The price is a reasonable you don’t. have to spend. arm and an leg. for this type of drone. It’s well worth it. And customer service will work with. you Are making sure. pleased and operating correctly.

I looked for a drone that I felt that can complete with another highly sort after brand. This limitless 5 by Drone Clone is exactly what I was looking for. It’s solid. As soon as you take it out the box you can feel how well it’s made. The battery life is really good. Has lights on each propeller arm it, so when you over 300′ high it looks like a small plane.the obstacle avoidance feature beeps real loud and does its job to keep it safe. The controls are easy just like any other drone, has a nice extra attachment for phone so you have 2 choices. Takes minutes to register it with the FAA. The Instructions and Video are off the hook clear. Camera takes very clear photos and videos, has the axis gimbal for nice level pictures. I recommend this drone if you want to give an American company a shot that will not disappointment. Customer service is awesome ! I accidentally crashed mine on first flight so to My own error, and for $100 to cover the shipping and handling I was mailed in a couple days a new drone and everything else that came originally with it. Even a battery. Matthew Kenneth from Drone Clone was a pure gentleman and immediately made sure I was happy. Enjoy this drone, fly happy and safe !

This is my 2nd drone and the video is crystal clear with no tilt issues due to the gimbal. The controller is very well made with a separate clamp for your phone, which I thought may bother me but feels comfortable in my hands. I’ve had no connectivity issues with it flying at longer and higher distances, the video comes through without lag like you’ll find on a lot of drones on the market. I had issues connecting my phone initially (due to user error), but got it corrected quickly thanks to support responding via email and telephone within minutes. Definitely a huge bang for your buck.

Just getting done unboxing the drone and I’m am impressed beyond belief. The drone it’s is larger than what I expected. The controller felt very nice even better than a DJI that I had. It came in a nice zip up case with extra wings and connectors for the controller to you phone. Also I has a separate phone holder that hooks to the controller. Will review more once it’s in the air.
OH MY GOD!!!!!! This drone is amazing. So easy to fly. This is the best bang for your buck if you want a good quality drone. Totally amazed was easy to setup and was flying in ten minutes.
