I cannot Understand why the Manufacturer did not send the Battery Charger . I still gave the Product 5 Stars as this Product is Top Quality for the Price. But Overall I Gave 3 Stars as it makes no sense to sell this great product without a Battery Charger !

I took a chance buying this camera as there are not many videos or reviews on this newer model. This camera takes awesome photos and video in 4k. Image stabilization is awesome for the price. For more than half the price of a go pro you canāt go wrong with this camera. Comes with several mounting brackets and two batteries. Iāve had zero issues uploading videos and photos to my computer or to the app. I researched just about every action camera for two weeks before buying this Gamsod camera. I believe itās better than the Akaso and Campak cameras that I have seen. Buy it, you wonāt regret it. Will update in several months after I use it skiing.

So, I bought this since I’m starting to ride motorcycles, and wanted to film it all. This cam will definitely do that, and at the price I paid, I wouldn’t return it. I do have some major issues with it though.
Cons: The software is pure trash. Honestly, it COULD be sooooo much better if you guys just tried. Having the software in a hidden file folder is HORRIBLE. Just save it into the NORMAL DCIM file and call it a day. Having to download all of the files to my phone, not use my phones SD card AT ALL, or make it work to where I can actually just plug the cam directly into my computer and download it that way. Sadly these aren’t how it works. It’s just an overall bad system structure. Out of the box settings are pretty terrible honestly. Make sure you adjust them and make plenty of test videos before using it. The cam comes with TWO batteries, however, you’re absolutely going to want to buy more. This thing has TERRIBLE battery life. Also, who the hell gives you external batteries and no charger for them? This is a bad move.
Pros: Sturdy, feels quality, and comes with almost everything you’ll need to mount your cam in most places. You will need to buy a helmet mount though, as the ones it come with have no curve, and aren’t for a helmet. Price is fine overall. Buttons don’t lend to a lot of accidental presses, and the wrist remote is cool.
Overall, it’s a fine camera that has some really annoying downsides.. Would I buy it again? Maybe? Need to see how the video looks after adjusting it. Overall, really it deserves 2.75 stars. Gave it three though as 2 is too low.

As stated by others, supplying 2 batteries but no charger seems wrong to me. Image stabilization in combination with other settings can cause some odd cropping and other strange image results, so try various configurations in different situations to get the results you want. Running this at 4k inside the waterproof case on my motorcycle helmet mount in cold weather has been causing the screw on lens cover to fog up inside rendering the video useless. Anti fog strips don’t help as the fogging is inside the screwed on lens cover. Running at 1k does help as the camera doesn’t get as hot, but that isn’t the resolution I want. Gamsod support suggested I attach the camera using the mounting frame instead of the waterproof mount, but I don’t want to expose the camera to the road and rain elements when riding – (perhaps I should’nt worry about that?).

This action camera surpassed all expectations with very crisp, stable video at 4K 60 fps! The fact it’s a 140 wide angle lens instead of the more fish-eye looking 170 causes better resolutions in this camera than many popular others, IMHO. I could see the camera shaking fiercely while riding and yet the resulting video shows very little to zero shaking throughout. All my other lower-priced sports cameras (3) claimed very good EIS but the claims were unsupported in their performance for my needs. This camera satisfies my need for quality super EIS at a very reasonable cost! The function buttons are a little stiff, but that’s my only objection. Everything else is tops, especially video performance and the simple and intuitive touch screen navigation.

No battery charger included with this version. I purchased the 4K60FPS version previously but had issues, however it came with a dual slot battery charger. This upgraded model does not come with a charger, how cruel. One has to charge each battery individually inside the body, when camera is not in use. No stand-by charging. Another way of screwing the customer. Don’t buy on principle, I am returning this! Update 6/6/22: Customer service reached out to me and apologized for the charger error. They quickly resolved the problem and most importantly, were very polite and respectful. I could not ask for more. Two thumbs!
