I’ve enjoyed the Divevolk for the most part… the handle (not shown) could be greatly be improved but works okay… this wide-angle conversion dome is some kind of hack… lousy results, not good for over/under as shown… contacted Divevolk and they wouldn’t accept the return… so it’s sitting on a table and not in my case… if you want one and don’t mind being out 150 what ever it cost then I wish you good luck…

I bought this wide lens for my trip and I am very happy with the outcome of the lens itself. I don’t need to be fidgeting with different settings and it’s set for wide angle photos / videos. I am able to capture the entire experience. It’s so easy to attach on to the clamp and with the red filter as well. Hands down , Divevolk has the best products!! I never go without the housing!

I had purchased the DiveVolk SeaTouch IV case for my Iphone 13 Pro and – being a professional underwater photographer – wanted to add it into my tool chest image capturing devices. A quick and easy, transportable dive housing would be a good addition – the case met my expectations and met my needs when I didn’t want to lug my larger DSLR housing around. It did the job as expected and as advertised – the touch screen worked; it kept my phone dry; it is portable and transportable; it allows easy access to photogrammetry programs specific to the iphone. The iphone underwater fills the bill for quick shots and a a decent resolution.
Full disclosure that I was sent a Wide Angle Conversion Lens X0.6 wide angle lens for review by DiveVolk as they wanted an opionion. I was already generally satisfied with the performance of the DiveVolk Sea IV housing on the Iphone 13 pro and a wide angle lens was very much of interest. The native .5 wide angle on the phone works very well – but can one make it better? Or wider? Would the lens make things wider? Or better? And distortion free?

The main (initial) use of the DiveVolk System with the Iphone with the lens was to do take photos and video of competitive swimmers in a pool to show them their techniques. We could only do it in one lane and the widest shot possible was needed. Using the Iphone .5 wide angle with the converter lens easily did this for us.

The other concern I had was the amount of distortion. See the attached images. I was quite pleased with the results and noted the lens did not distort as much as I had expected. Very good. It did the job. We were able to get the shots we needed.

If you are looking for wide angle attachment for your DiveVolk case, this may fill the bill for you. Im quite pleased with the setup.

The lens was half full of water on the first dive. Ruined all photos of that dive. Depth was 80 ft max. The divevolk housing preformed great but this lens was a disappointment. Hopefully this was simply a faulty lens and divevolk will provide a replacement…….

I just traveled to the BVI and it was perfect for small and compact underwater photography options! This coupled with a Divevolk underwater camera/phone case, divelight attachment and lense attachments was exactly what I needed for a one week sailing excursion!
