It floats a little too high in fresh water had to add the salt water weights to be able to make it go down. handles good. Water needs to be clear from weeds or the propellers get clogged easy. Decent camera had a very hard time getting the videos off of the device

Hello everyone, so far have conducted 4 dives with the drone, and itâs worked great. Pretty straight forward and easy to operate. Some items I wouldâve liked to have known before buying are: Both the drone and controller needed updates before using. When operating, the drone will take off on its own, like itâs just now receiving a command (main interface between drone and controller is WIFI) There isnât an apple app for the control app.
Items I think would make the drone the best out there are as follow: Apple app for the control software. Wired connection from the controller to the cable reel, this would allow for faster response and donât have to worry about WIFI interference. Second camera on bottom of drone, allowing for a more stable view and you donât have to worry about hitting the object your looking at. Finally, a lateral thruster, this would allow you to keep an object in view and fly 360 around it.
Best features: Strong tether, got it stuck under a dock, took 45 minutes to get it free, by pulling by hand and with the drone, checked the tether, no scratches or breaks Easy Video transfer Great Video quality Easy post dive maintenance.

Went down 59 feet on 1st dive and spotted structure and fish in the gulf of Mexico. Works great , would have liked the case to hold remote also great support team. Returned my emails promptly

The media could not be loaded.
Made a video explaining problem with Trident OpenROV. This is the second time I use it. The first time I only argued it was really hard to handle. Now Iâm using it for the second time and I noticed the right rotor no moving in any direction. When checking, the electric motor is completely jammed. There is no way to rotate it and I need help to fix this problem. I will appreciate a prompt response.
