I bought this a6700 kit to take high-quality photos and videos during backpacking trips. I wanted a camera that could take RAW photos, could capture 10-bit 4k video, had an EVF, had at least a 1″ sensor, and was compact enough to fit in my camera pod, and the Sony a6700 with the 16-50mm collapsible lens was basically the only camera currently on the market that fit all the requirements. Happy with my purchase. The battery life is great too; one battery lasted me the entirety of a recent three-day backpacking trip.
