Buen producto. la luz blanca muy potente, la roja muy bien y el UV más tenue pero acercando la linterna se ve muy bien las cosas que reflejan UV. Recomendado

The OrcaTorch D710V is a game-changer for underwater videographers and divers seeking to capture the beauty of the underwater world. With its impressive 2000 lumens output and innovative tri-color light sources, this underwater video light proves to be an invaluable tool for underwater photography and videography. After putting it through its paces, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance.
One of the standout features of the D710V is its tri-color light sources. These sources offer three different colors (white, red, and UV), allowing you to adapt to various underwater scenarios effortlessly. The white light is perfect for capturing the vibrant colors of coral reefs and marine life, the red light helps preserve the natural behaviors of certain underwater creatures, and the UV light uncovers hidden fluorescent patterns on coral reefs. This has been difficult for me to capture on camera. You can switch on the flying with simple one-button controls. It will just cycle through each mode back to off.
The build quality is exceptional. The material not only ensures the light’s durability but is also lightweight. The double O-rings provide an effective seal, keeping the light watertight even at depths of up to 150 meters.
The runtime of the D710V is impressive, thanks to its rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Depending on the light intensity and mode used, you can get several hours of continuous use, which is sufficient for most diving sessions. Battery can easily be charged with a standard USB C cable.
In terms of ease of use, the D710V is user-friendly. The single button makes operating simple, even with gloves on very easy. The included strap, ball joint, and YS mount allow for flexible positioning, and the light is secured to you.

I’m more than pleased with this purchase!
Out of the box: Delivery was quick and the packaging was well thought out. I loved that the package had minimal discardable plastic pieces! Almost all the packaging has repurposed potential. While compact and good on the budget, the construction materials feel sturdy and high quality, yet the torch is lightweight. Furthermore, the box includes all the necessary pieces in a way that is ready to mount on your camera rig and go.
Underwater, I was very pleasantly surprised with how bright, clean, and wide the white light was. 2K lumens is no joke. I also love the 600 lumens hue for a soft light touch. The UV and Red light options are new to me and I’m super excited about learning more about it. For the red light, I tested it on a skittish tiny shrimp that tends to disappear quickly when approached. The red light allowed me to set the focus and snap the shot as intended. On the other hand, the UV light is opening up a whole new side of the underwater organisms I typically see during my dives. Bringing up colors and patterns I haven’t noticed before. Lastly, the battery life seems reasonable for all of the video light uses and it charges very quickly, which is ideal for multiple dive days!
In all, I’m happy with this purchase and look forward to leveraging my day/night fun dives and underwater photography.

You can see from the video how bright this light is. That was from 90’ on the Yukon wreck off of San Diego. It was dark and murky down there, and this light lit it up. Love to see the colors of the coral come to life with the light. Bring down around 90’ in dark, cold, surgy, murky water is easier with a good flashlight.
The other pictures are off of Point Loma at about 70’. Was not as dark, but this light still helped me take much better video than other lights with more direct beams. The two pictures I attached are taken from my video on my GoPro4.
I love the little case that comes with this light. Holds everything nicely and fits easily into my dive bag. The extra battery is a nice touch, but to be honest, the battery holds a nice charge. I got an hour out of it yesterday and it didn’t even change off of green.
My only complaint about OrcaTorch is that their batteries are different across the various models, even the high end ones. So is the life of a diver with multiple flashlights, lol. It won’t stop me from continuing to buy from OrcaTorch. They are very sturdy, reliable, and provide great illumination under water!

Used this for a snorkeling fill light to record videos in an amazinf underwater phone housing (divevolk). The light was plenty powerful to evenly fill the wide angle lens with no dark edges. The light fills the frame with no hotshots at all. It’s very impressive. The color rendering is natural and has a high and low light setting. For added bonus, there’s a red light and a uv light. The uv light isn’t “bright” but it packs enough to see things that are close. Certain types of coral glow. Kinda cool. The batteries last a long time. The usb c port on the batteries plug right into the cable usbc cable. There are 3 separate o ring seals that seal up the battery so no water comes in. Also comes with extra o rings, charging cable, and a ball mount. I was skeptical about purchasing an off brand but this octatorch performed very well.
