This is my first camera and I’m absolutely in love, it is sturdy, the battery lasts just long enough for an extended photoshoot (more than 5 hours) Wich is enough for me. I love taking self portraits with this one as it has this amazing autofocus and color science. The interface is fast and intuitive, for someone that’s just learning how to take pictures is perfect as the easy use just motivates me more just to point and shoot. And the app it comes with is just amazing to take self portraits as you can see everything your camera is seeing with your phone and shoot from the distance. I’m in love and I feel I got way more than I paid for. Value for money 10/10

There was a Canon camera, can’t remember which model, that is very popular but sold out everywhere. My daughter was disappointed but I told her we’ll shop. I looked this model up and it had great reviews and lots of features. I feel it’s an excellent camera for under $800. I’m no camera expert but my daughter loves it, has taken some great pictures, and has not complained meaning its user friendly. No problems linking it to her iphone. It doesn’t come with a memory card which we found out but not a big deal. Went to Office Max and got a card which was easy to install as is the battery for removal and charging. Can’t go wrong with this one.

The Eos R50 is a great step back into photography, or a step into if you’ve never done it before. The camera body is very lightweight and even with its standard lens that comes in this kit it’s still feels very comfortable to wear around your neck with the strap all day. The image quality is much better than what you’re getting from your cell phone, of course. I have large hands, and the size of this camera fits well for both me and my wife who has small hands. The kits very much worth the money as you get the microphone the mini tripod and the lens.

I picked up the Canon R50 to take going-out pictures of me and my friends. I quickly learned how versatile (and addicting ) this camera is. The image quality is excellent, the colors are vibrant, the controls are intuitive, and the manual function was easy to learn. It’s the perfect camera to throw in my purse. I recently picked up a telephoto lens (55-210mm) for this camera, and I absolutely love it.

Does video very well for the price, provided that you have a fast enough SD card. The lens is so-so that comes with the boxed kit, it is OK but doesn’t excel but is a decent lens to get acquainted to the camera with. Look to expand your lens collection bade Don your needs, but the body of the camera is very compact compared to traditional DSLR body sizes.

The shotgun mic is pretty decent for a beginner but will likely be forgotten once a user grows their ability. Same with the grip, other options will likely be better platforms as someone is more comfortable with the camera and needs to expand to meet their needs.

Extra batteries will likely be a requirement or otherwise look into compact filming platform battery systems.

I’m getting some great photos of kids sports. Still learning all the settings but I enjoy having more options to capture memories.
