- 【STM Stepping Moto】TTArtisan AF 56mm F1.8 CF lens adopts the “STM+leading screw” stepping motor, which is small in size and smooth in focusing.
- 【Eye Recognition Focus】 Accurate and agile eye tracking makes it easy to capture wonderful moments when taking photos, and helps to shoo smooth images when recording videos.
- 【Interface for Firmware Upgrade】The firmware upgrade of the lens can be carried out through the typer-c interface to improve the performance. Different from the common design of the interface on the lens, TTArtisan designs the interface on the back cap, which improves the aesthetics of the lens.
- 【Metal Material】 The lens barrel and mount are made of aviation aluminum, and the metal texture perfectly matches the retro vibe of Fuji cameras.
- 【F1.8 Large Aperture, Soft Bokeh】F1.8 aperture allows more light to enter the camera, which is beneficial for low-light photography. In addition, the large aperture brings objects in the foreground into focus and blurs the background.

I’ve had this lens for less than a week, but my initial impressions are 100% positive. Images, taken at f1.8 are incredibly sharp, colors are spot on and the lens works beautifully with Sony’s AF. It’s simply fantastic, especially considering the price.

It had the “correct” mount, but was made out of spec and would not mount to my Sony FX30 camera. The reseller jumped me through a lot of hoops before refunding my money and treated me so poorly that I have resolved to never risk buying from that seller again. While the listing showed TTArtisan as the seller, it is really a different company and they treat their customers horribly.

Just received this lens today. I am using it on my Sony A6400. The auto focus at time does not focus where I needed to be. I’m not sure if I need to update the firmware since I just got the lens today.
I was using this lens on my Sony a6000. It appeared that the auto focus work faster on my a6000 that on my a6400. The picture was very sharp on both my camera.

The packaging was beat up and the box was slightly dinged. I couldn’t believe Amazon would package this lens in a paper bag. The lens inside the box looked fine but I know it was thrown around. I mounted the lens on my Sony A6700 and tried the AF and nothing happened. I went on TTartisan website looking for a possible firmware update but nothing is listed for this model. I am sure the issue is with the shipping, bouncing this lens around. I am very disappointed!
Revision – I cleaned the contacts on the lens a couple of times and it started working.

This is an inexpensive lens compared to other lenses around the same focal length. It is apsc sensor size so only built for cropped cameras. The hood is the most different of all my lenses as it is a closed rectangular shape like a film style look. I like that they provide the bottom cover that can be used to upgrade the firmware on the lens to increase sharpness and other things. It is well made and is solid. Great focus on Sony cameras and pictures give nice bokeh. The camera thread size is 52mm. The cap doesn;t cover the front lens if you use the lens hood. You have to find a place to put the cap if you decide to use the hood. I guess it still prevents the sun from directly hitting the glass as well as protect the lens itself if you bump into things.

Watched some reviews on YouTube and was kind of hesitant.
Couldn’t be more satisfied, sharpness and colors come out incredibly good.

Lots of choices here in this focal length, but I think this is the best one out of the many with this price. If I could afford it, or if I did this a bit more seriously I would buy the Sigma for the wide aperture, but this is sufficient and incredibly sharp in the center. I don’t see a color change, either like I saw with the Meike in some test footage.

I’ve used a TTArtisan manual focus lens, so when I saw this autofocus prime I wanted to check it out.
I think it really provides good value for the price. I don’t think you’re getting away with anything, but lenses can be expensive. This one is inexpensive, has an autofocus that works well, and can take great photos within its constraints.
It opens up to 1.8 but I like it better stopped down from there, depending on what I’m going for.
I enjoy shooting with prime lenses and I’m not averse to manual focus, especially if I have time to compose. But having an inexpensive AF prime is a nice option and I am enjoying using it with my a6000.
