I found that the Canon EOS Rebel T7 was exactly what I was looking for, not to complicated to operate. I was looking for a hobby with a camera that I can start out that was not too expensive and yet you don’t have to be a professional to operate. A few things I would have liked is 1. A Touch Screen to navigate through the menu and photo library. 2. 4K video. Things I disliked are the accessories, the tripod is a toy, very cheap, I wouldn’t think about putting a camera on it, overall I am happy.

I love the auto focus on the camera. It wasn’t clear that it is a refurbished camera when I purchased it but I’m thrilled with all the accessories, ease of use and the price of this camera.

It’s a Canon, what’s not to love about them. The tripod that came in the kit is flimsy, so I don’t recommend using it. However, I have used every other piece in the kit multiple times. If you are looking for a camera for vacation, or you want to get a start with photography, this kit can do it.

Would not buy again and do not recommend for more than basic photography. Video is useless and constantly overheats camera and shuts down.
