It took awhile, but I figured out how to attach the 420 lens. The little tripod is very unstable and does not hold the camera up. The part that is suppose to be used as a hand strap on the left hand side blocks the battery door and does not allow you to remove the battery without removing it first. It didn’t come with any information on the flash attachment. I have already ordered a backpack camera bag, as the one included is very small and cheaply made. As far as photography, the pictures are great. I have so much to learn to use this camera to its full potential!! I am excited to learn! I bought a book to help me with all of this! Can’t wait to get into it!

I am in love with this camera. So easy and takes beautiful pictures. Love that it has blue tooth!

This camera with all the add-ons is amazing! It’s a great camera and I very much love the 3 different lenses that go with the body. I’m still exploring all the extra items that came with the package. It is as close a replica to the 35mm camera that I had so that I don’t have to wonder what each setting does.

Using this to learn how to take pictures. This was the first camera I bought. I have some great pictures with it and I have some crappie pictures with it. My issues come from user error mostly. The only issue that I keep having is somehow dust is getting inside behind the lenses and I have to clean inside it all the time. I also had the auto focus on/off switch brake on one of the lenses about a month after I got the camera but hasn’t effected the lens performance. I’ve had this for almost 2 years now and used it from Vermont winters to South Carolina summers with no issues. The original battery still works great, no issues with any controls or the screen. I am not a fan of the 400mm-800mm lens this comes with mine distorts the color making it very brownish. Since buying this I have also used a friends Nikon D5600 and very similar controls only difference I could tell was fames per sec. Would recommend for a first camera 100%.

This is a camera best suited for Manual setting users. Autofocus on the T7 is extremely slow, and has been since it came out. Manual focus is much faster once you learn to use it that way.
The rest of the camera settings are very easy to adjust, and the auto works reasonably well for casual shooting.
Holding any long lens still, is gonna be hard without a lot of practice, but the 500 is actually a really good lens as far as image quality. This is what that monopod and that tiny tripod are really good for!
The slave flash is pretty tiny. I guess it could be useful but I am not sure what I could use it for. If you are needing to shoot dim lit, you are going to have to invest in at least a >$100 flash.
The case I received was a very well made and suitable Vivitar.
The tulip hoods, color and UV filters fit the lenses tight and work well. Always install UV lenses and leave them as they will protect your actual lens from dust and damage!
Over all, I am very happy.

I have used lots of Canon products and although this is a great starter for the price it isn’t fast enough. The shutter seems sluggish and I can’t get the great stop motion that I can achieve with some of the more expensive models. Also I never received the adapter to use my large lense and I keep forgetting to order a new one so I haven’t been able to use that lense.
