The case works great had it to 170 ft the red lens filled with water my fault didn’t tighten enough but pics where ok just have to play with to understand but case did its job perfect

works great with my sony rx 100…perfect fit.

never buy ever! Completely flooded after dive number 6 nearly damaged my phone. All instruction followed, what a rubbish !I am really disappointed as it seemed to work fine. I had issues with operating mouse under water as on top of housing it actually functioned upside down.

I ordered this for a trip we took to the Maldives.
I had to order in advance because we were traveling for 3 moths.
The adjustment knob for macro, micro didn’t work from day one.
Sadly we were in the Maldives before I was able to test it so I was very limited in the depth I could go.
I basically have an unusable, non-preforming product that I evidently can’t return.
I would really encourage people to pay the extra money and buy the OLYMPUS case that goes with the camera.

Easy to set up and worked great. No issues with water leaking in at 95ft. Was easy to switch from photo to video mode with the mouse buttons. Well worth the money

I have used many underwater photo and video rigs over the last three decades. This is not a professional housing, but then, you can’t beat its performance to price ratio. It worked very well with my Samsung Galaxy S23 for snorkeling. Very good deal for the price. The controls are basic and can be a bit finicky, but you can get good photos and videos. It comes with a blue water filter that drastically improves color balance underwater. I would recommend for a diver on a budget or anyone who wants the convince of taking high definition underwater photos and videos on their smartphone for uploading directly to Google Photos.

This product is well designed and of good quality. However, it has a critical problem. The back wheel, used for changing many of the settings, is not available using the case. This makes it impossible to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and many other settings. If you just want a case to use when in automatic mode, this case will work very well, but it is useless for manual, aperture priority, or shutter priority modes. Beware, the review video is not for the RX100 model and shows a housing model that doesn’t have this restriction.

I bought this for a scuba diving trip in the Philippines. Stopped working after just one dive!! So have no pictures from the trip. What a rip off, as now it is landfill garbage. Shame on Amazon for selling this crap without any support! Don’t waste your money on this.

I scuba dive weekly and was hoping this would allow me to use my phone as a camera underwater. The Bluetooth signal cuts out, the housing leaks and I am simply disappointed at this purchase. After giving up on the Bluetooth, I tried to just leave my phone on record before sealing it in the casing, then it started leaking. Got a different seal and turns out, it’s leaking through the plastic. This thing is just junk.

Kinda useless, I’m not even sure it would make a great paper weight.

The product looks good. Fit and finish is fine. Buttons seem smooth and crisp. They seem to hit all the controls accurately. I bought a white case so that it would not get too hot in the sun and it might make finding the camera easier if you drop it. Though it might be visible reflected from a shiny target, especially with macro subjects. >>>>>As of 3/8/2020 I have not had this in the water.<<<<<<
Only one problem I can foresee. The “O” ring seal is white. If you have fine grains of sand, fibers or dust on the surface of the “O” ring, you may not spot it. ALWAYS use a strong light to check for particles or fibers.
I have had 5 other underwater housings and they all had red or blue colored “O” rings which facilitated finding particles and fibers.

You will need to block the strobe diffuser window on the housing if you are using external strobes. The fiber optic sockets are on the side of the diffuser and seem to take standard optical fiber cable plugs very well.

Adding to my review. I took the camera and housing on trip to Maui on March 12th. Then Covid-19 hit the fan. I returned from Maui on March 15th. Never dove the camera. Preparing for a tentative trip in the Straits of Mackinac, I looked at the U/W filter. I think it is for saltwater, but noticed a smudge. I fogged the filter and used an appropriate lens wipe, only to discovered the filter is plastic. I scratched it. So if you need to wipe the filter included with the housing, just realize it is a very soft, crappy plastic.

I chose this over other cases because I like that I can click anything on my screen. Dove with it to 96 feet with no leak issue. I even forgot to do the vacuum seal and no leaks. And it was negatively buoyant.

I noticed the mouse pointer seems to go to sleep and disappear, a shutter press fixes that. My glossy colored phone showed up in reflections, fixed that with a black matte phone. Picture quality will depend on your phone, I use a Ulefone Armor x7 water proof phone and it takes decent pics. The included red filter is really red but you’ll at least have red channel info when editing. Can’t use the camera flash due to glare but I expected that.

Its a good case for the price and I am happy with my purchase, may get used phone with a better camera just for the case
