I was ready to update a regular camera since the one I have been using (when I am not using my cellphone camera) is starting to fall apart, as ir is over 20 years old.
This camera is simple, sleek, and fun to use. The videos and photos come out clear. There are many options to adjust, if needed, to get the right light, look, and more, even under water!
The battery and memory card fit snuggly, which is how they should fit. To make sure they are closed tightly in their section, especially when in water, make sure to push the button up to “Lock”. (Picture provided.) If it is NOT pushed in the “Lock” position, it can easily pop open at any time.
This camera, with all of its many features has the selfie camera. To use this, press and hold the “DISP” button for two seconds. To switch back, press and hold “DISP” again. (Picture provided)
I also love how simple it is to charge, as it comes with the same kind for cellphones. It can easily connect to a laptop, computer, etc and watch on the screen, easily transfer videos/pictures, and so much more.
I highly recommend this camera!

I bought this camera primarily for fishing. I like to wade streams and rivers which poses a risk of slipping into deeper water. Taking photos with a cell phone is also risky from dropping. While there are waterproof packs for cellphones, they are not foolproof. I had been looking for a waterproof camera I could hang around my neck so it is easily within reach. This camera has gotten wet several times without harm. Picture quality is acceptable and it’s easy to use. I love this camera as it’s going what it was advertised to do. Thanks

Perfect size water camera, easy to hold and take pictures. Pictures were clear and precise. Downloading was easy to do. Instructions for camera use were very understandable.
My only issue was the latch to close the side door. This is were you insert memory card and where the charging plug is at. I had the hardest time closing it. My wife could do it a bit faster.

I’m currently on a cruise and bought this just prior to my trip. Went snorkeling twice and even though camera is fully charged it will ONLY power on when it’s plugged in. Would not power on on both snorkeling trips. Have removed the battery and reinserted it several times. Will be returning this when I get home next week. The camera is useless.

Make sure to go into the settings and fix the pixel quality. i though the photos were poor until i realized its defaulted to a lower setting. once i changed that photo quality was great. floats in the water, great underwater shots – still cant figure out how to get the front screen to work for selfie purposes. overall good experience with a few hiccups.

This camera takes great pictures, but why are the UI beeps so loud? Every audible volume for those beeps is piercing, so I have to silence it (which my son doesn’t like).
If you are sensitive to sound, be aware that the default volume level (and all audible levels) of the UI beeps is comically loud. If you can set the time and date without wincing, the camera is fine.

This underwater camera performed much better than I expected. I was very impressed with the photos and videos taken in the springs this afternoon. They are much more clear than my $300 camera.
